Founded in 2008, Unify Square helps companies manage collaboration and communication software such as Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and Zoom. Customers include REI, Barclays, Bank of Ireland, Unilever, and others.
Unify Square had raised $36 million, according to PitchBook. Investors include Primepulse SE, Microsoft, Bridge Bank, and Stanford University.
Unify Square is a longtime partner of Microsoft, where founder and former CEO Sonu Aggarwal once worked on the product roadmap and development for Live Communications Server and Office Communications Server. Aggarwal transitioned to CTO and was replaced in 2017 by John Case, a former corporate vice president of global marketing, product management, and business teams for Office and Office 365 at Microsoft.
Unisys and Unify Square hold a shared vision for how businesses can more easily adapt to the new reality of a hybrid workforce, Case said in a statement.
Unify employs around 200 people at offices in Bellevue, the U.K., Germany, Switzerland, India, Australia and Lithuania.
Unisys is a global IT giant based in Blue Bell, Pa., that posted $509.8 million in revenue in the most recent fiscal quarter, down 1.1% year-over-year.
